PROJECT 5 DAY 6 REVIEWS

This was the final day of the week and also the deadline of the project so we carried out group critiques to evaluate each others work. There was a wide variety of angles in which individuals had approached this project and all were good although it could be said that some were much better than others. The animated work really inspired me and I know want to do some of my own animation over the Christmas holidays. In the group critiques at first people are too polite so you don't get much feedback apart from: 'well done', but then people start to get more into it and inevitably you receive some really good feedback, often things you'd never have previously thought about which helps a lot. I am glad we did these groups critiques and got to see the finished projects. As a day it was nice to see what all the hard work has led to for all people in the class; if we had projects like this all of the time I think I would learn a lot at a fast pace because as a process this particular project was the best and I enjoyed it the most. I really liked how we had an extended period of time- 2 weeks and the way you could approach the task was so open that you could essentially do anything you wanted. I feel that I worked much harder on this project than on any other previous project so I aim to keep this accelerated level of effort up for the future projects.

  1. Hi Callum!

I'm planning to apply to the foundation course at Ravensbourne next year and I was wondering if I could get in touch with you to ask you some questions about the course. My e-mail is claramm10@gmail.com. I specifically wanted to know what a normal day is like and what your schedule is like.

Thank you in advance and thank you for creating this blog, I've enjoyed reading it!

    Good luck next year

    Clara
