PROJECT 6 (XMAS HOLIDAYS) - 'KING OF OCEAN AND AIR' VIDEO

Over the Christmas break I completed a project named: 'passage of time', after much research I decided to delve into a smaller aspect of time, that being slow-motion. I started off thinking that I would hand draw all stop motion frames showing a great white shark jumping out of the water and then using the computer I could edit the speeds that the frames happened in to vary the motion from slow to normal life speed and allow the viewer to see how much happens in such a small amount of time when you look closer. I realised that drawing would take a lot more time then I originally expected so instead I took print-screens of a youtube video of a shark jumping out of the water and then I edited these using photoshop and adobe illustrator. I also messed around with the order of the frames in windows movie maker, experimenting to see what looked best and then deciding that only the original order and that reversed looked good I started to compile different version constantly redrafting to achieve my final video. I am pleased with my experimental efforts and my final outcome but I still think that improvement can be made especially when just tidying up some of the basic aspects and making the final edits more creative at the end allowing for a nicer flow. I would like to create a video again but perhaps next time I would like to experiment with real video footage and attempt to make something to a professional level. Below is my final draft named: 'KING OF OCEAN AND AIR'.
